Six international teams gather in Hong Kong – 12 matches ignite volleyball fever
Continuing the format of the previous edition, this year’s tournament features six international powerhouses converging in Hong Kong: China, Italy, Dominican Republic, Canada, Belgium, and Ukraine. Together, they will deliver twelve world-class volleyball matches over five consecutive days of high-octane action.

The spotlight this year falls on world No.1 and defending champions Italy, who are aiming for a third consecutive title. After an undefeated run in the Hong Kong leg last year, Italy successfully defended their title by defeating Brazil in the Finals. They further cemented their dominance by clinching the Women's World Championship later that year.

Host favorites and world No.6 China have successfully navigated a transition period over the past year. With a more youthful roster, the team aims to leverage a strategic "veteran-led" lineup to achieve a critical competitive breakthrough on home turf.

Making their historic debut in the Volleyball Nations League, Ukraine is a rising power whose performance is highly anticipated. Meanwhile, three other Western powerhouses— Dominican Republic, Canada, and Belgium—will also be in Hong Kong for the final round of the preliminary phase, giving their all to secure a spot in the Finals.

The Volleyball Nations League makes a powerful return to Hong Kong, elevating the city's major events status. Kai Tak Arena's Sports Hall will be transformed into a free-admission Volleyball Carnival, featuring a variety of booths and spectacular performances. Whether cheering in the stands or enjoying the carnival atmosphere, every fan can immerse themselves in the excitement of volleyball while experiencing the boundless energy of Hong Kong's mega events.

Tickets for the tournament will be available for public sale via HK Ticketing and Damai from 10:00am on 8 May 2026. Tickets are divided into two categories: morning sessions (11:00 or 11:30) are priced at HK$200 and HK$400; for evening sessions, one ticket admits fans to two matches on the same night (17:00 & 20:30 on 8 to 10 July; 16:30 & 20:00 on 11 to 12 July), with prices ranging from HK$380 to HK$1,800.
