Elite Players To Battle at Kai Tak; Hong Kit Wong Takes to the Home Court
Kai Tak Arena will transform into 24 international-standard pickleball courts. World-class players will gather to deliver a series of thrilling matchups! A host of star athletes attended the official event announcement press conference, including home favourites Hong Kit Wong and Nok Yiu Tang, Len Yang (USA), Yufei Long (China) and Lingwei Kong (China) all expressing their enthusiasm for the event. As the top-ranked player in Hong Kong and across the region, Hong Kit Wong returns to compete on his home court. He has been in sensational form this year, capturing 5 Gold, 5 Silver, and 13 Bronze medals across various event stops. Building on his Gold in Men's Singles and Silver in Men's Doubles in Hong Kong last year, he is determined to achieve even greater success this year.

As the blockbuster finale to a landmark year for professional pickleball, the Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam is poised to be the largest professional tournament of its kind ever staged in Asia. The event will attract the world’s elite pickleball athletes to compete for a staggering prize purse of up to US$1.1 million (up to approx. HK$8.58 million) – the highest in Asian professional pickleball history – along with 1,500 ranking points. The tournament will draw the world’s top players to Hong Kong to battle for prizes, ranking points and the season’s highest honour – the roaring dragon head – the crowning piece of the season’s interlocking hardware and is only up for grabs at this final stop.
