This is the closest we'll get to a Deadpool, Logan crossover

Ryan Reynolds' Youtube channel has a new video and it's probably the best thing fans who have been clamouring for a Deadpool-Wolverine collaboration can hope for... so far.

The video is close to four minutes long and in it we see Reynolds' character Wade Wilson in a hoodie coming across an alleyway mugging. What does he do next? He channels his inner Clark Kent and finds the nearest phone booth to change into his Deadpool costume.

Unfortunately for the would-be victim, Deadpool is not faster than a speeding bullet and you'll just have to watch the entire video to see what exactly happens. Watch out for a cameo as well.

If I were to make a guess, this was probably the video people have been talking about that was shown before "Logan", which opened a couple of days ago. (The movie house I went to didn't have anything except trailers).

You can easily make the connection as Deadpool name dropped the popular X-Men character played by Hugh Jackman in the video a couple of times. And there's the poster in the background and the title on the theatre marquee.

Again, this may just be a throwaway scene from Reynolds for the fans as "Deadpool 2" is still a year away from hitting theatres. While Jackman says he is done with the X-Men franchise, we may still get to see Deadpool and Wolverine on screen together if the planned X-Force film pushes through albeit with a different actor brandishing the adamantium claws.
