Hong Kong, China players challenge world’s best on home ground
The WTA 250 event provides local Team Hong Kong, China players with another exciting opportunity to compete on home ground and challenge world-class opponents. Eudice Chong and Cody Wong have both been awarded wild cards for the singles main draw, and will also join forces again in the doubles main draw. Joining them at the tournament is Justine Leong and Maggie Ng who have received wild cards for the doubles main draw. In Saturday's women's singles qualifying matches, Maggie Ng and Kallista Liu will compete at the Centre Court, taking on Chinese and Japanese opponents respectively.
Eudice Chong said, “My form has showed great progress recently, especially with some good results in the doubles. I'm delighted to partner with Cody Wong again and hope fans will come out to support us and provide their enthusiastic backing for all the Hong Kong players.”

The tournament features a stellar line-up of the world’s top female tennis players, including Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic, Canadian star Victoria Mboko, Filipino rising star Alexandra Eala, offering enthusiasts a front-row experience to witness world-class athletes showcase their exceptional talent. Chinese tennis pioneer and Asia's first female Grand Slam singles champion Li Na also serves as Tournament Director for the second consecutive year.

The ‘Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2025’ runs from 25 October to 2 November. All qualifying matches on 25 and 26 October and main draw matches on Court 1 and Court 2 during the week will also be open to the public free of charge. The main draw's opening day on October 27 will feature the traditional 'People’s Monday', which will also be open to the public for free*. Public tickets are now available for purchase through Klook. Cat 1 tickets range from HK$220 to HK$970; and HK$160 to HK$760 for Cat 2 tickets. The Tournament Village is open to the public completely free of charge throughout the event.
A 50% discount is available for those aged 18 or below, full-time students, and seniors aged 60 or above on Cat 2 tickets.
