Nadal emphasized the importance of enjoying the journey in sports, noting, "The most important thing is to have fun, that's what the kids need to do. Spending the whole day in the Academy like this, sharing all these moments with family. That's the experience that helps you grow in every single way."
As an avid golf enthusiast, Nadal also experienced HKGTA's golf facilities firsthand, further highlighting the Academy's unique position in offering top-tier training across multiple sports. "This is one of the most beautiful driving ranges that I've ever been to. The view is unbelievable. It's so beautiful. It's a perfect place to play golf too and to learn how to play golf for the kids," he observed, underscoring how HKGTA's environment helps build interest among children and families across different sports.
Be Among The Greats
The RNTC at HKGTA is dedicated to implementing the comprehensive training philosophy of the Rafa Nadal Academy. Andrew Yang, General Manager of HKGTA, highlighted the profound impact of this partnership.
"As you all know, the Rafa Nadal methodology incorporates high-performance training, but it’s not only about training," said Yang. "It’s about sportsmanship and shaping one’s character – instilling values like humility, discipline, resilience, and fighting spirit. This Center has trained over thousands of players over the past few years, and we have seen positive results in competition, whether that be international tournaments or junior and adult leagues.”
Yang concluded by connecting this success to the Academy's core identity: “This vision is deeply rooted in the values of the Hong Kong Golf and Tennis Academy. ‘Be Among The Greats’ is not just a phrase—it is a standard we live by. By collaborating with world-leading partners like the Rafa Nadal Academy, we provide our patrons with an unparalleled environment to pursue sporting excellence and a balanced, active lifestyle.”
